How to Lengthen the Life of Your Scrubs

First, purchase the same brand and fabric content of your favorite scrubs.  Otherwise, you will experience different dye lots.

Secondly, always wash like colors together.  In addition, wash the top and pants of the same set of scrubs simultaneously.
Now, pour about a half cup of white vinegar directly onto your scrubs.  Then, add your favorite laundry detergent.  The white vinegar both sanitizes and slows down the fading process, and sets the color.  Fabric softener will make your scrubs feel wonderful, and you will want to wear them at all times.

Fourth, wash your scrubs in cold water and dry on low heat to prevent shrinkage.  If you want to shrink your scrubs, wash them in hot water and dry on high heat.   Adding a dryer sheet will eliminate static electricity.
